To comply with regulations and manage legal and reputational risks, Aviva required all employees to complete training on nine essential learning topics each year. The processing time and administrative overhead were estimated to be the equivalent of 200 full-time employees – a cost of approximately £7.75 million per year.

The solution

Aviva’s Learning & Development team partnered with Skillcast to develop a single compliance essentials learning module. It used an assessment-focused approach – for example, adaptive logic – allowing employees who demonstrated their understanding of certain topics to skip the related material.

Alongside that, we helped them implement a consistent user interface and concise learning content.
