FCA Compliance Library

We have released a new in-depth course called "Product Governance". This course explains what product governance is, why it matters in the UK regulatory environment, and how to apply the rules in practice across the full product life cycle. The course also explains roles and responsibilities in the distribution chain, how to evidence fair value under the Consumer Duty and how to monitor products over time in line with the FCA Handbook. The course reflects FCA expectations in PRIN 2A (Consumer Duty) and the PROD sourcebook on product governance.
 
We have released a new in-depth course called "CMCOB: Financial Services and Financial Product Claims". This course explains the FCA's Claims Management: Conduct of Business sourcebook (CMCOB), and how the FCA's rules apply to firms that manage financial services and financial product claims - from the first contact with a customer to the day when the claim ends. FCA Compliance Library

We have released a new in-depth course called "Short Selling Regulations". This course explains the FCA's new UK short-selling regime (SSR), which replaces the previous EU framework and introduces the UK Short Selling Sourcebook. With the new SSR, the FCA is zeroing in on accurate reporting, consistent calculation methodology, strong operational controls, sound systems and governance, and clear supervisory visibility. The rule changes come into effect on 13 July. This course will prepare you to recognise when the UK SSR applies; identify what counts toward a net short position and an adequately covered short sale; understand when FCA reporting thresholds are triggered; and explain the difference between FCA reporting and public disclosure.
