I have been extremely pleased with Skillcast from the beginning. I am the primary admin for the system (as well as a user), and I find it very easy to use. The challenge

Evolin’s parent organisation relied on an in-house system, with courses custom-built by their Compliance Officer. While functional, the system lacked access to expert-designed training and regularly updated content, limiting its long-term effectiveness and scalability.

Evolin required a more robust solution that offered high-quality, up-to-date courses with the flexibility to customise content to their needs.

Additionally,policy management functionality was a critical requirement to ensure effective tracking of policy acceptance and attestations. In essence, Evolin needed a solution that extended beyond the internal system that was once used so they could achieve greater efficiency, compliance confidence and, most importantly, scalability.

The solution

Evolin selected Skillcast as its compliance training partner to support its ambition of embedding a stronger culture of compliance across the organisation.

The rollout began with Skillcast’s Learning Management System (LMS), alongside the Essentials and FCA libraries. To strengthen governance and oversight, Evolin also implemented Policy Hub and Training 360, enabling structured CPD tracking and streamlined policy management.

As their needs evolved, so did their use of the platform. Evolin transitioned from the FCA Library to the newly launched Insurance Library and expanded their learning provision with the Compliance Bites Library. The introduction of Single Sign-On (SSO) further simplified access and improved the user experience.

Following the success of the initial implementation, Evolin upgraded to Skillcast’s Premium Plan. This plan elevated their compliance training programme to the next level since it added other compliance-related functionality they had been handling ‘manually’, such as Gifts & Hospitality Register and DSE Declarations.

All course content was custom-branded, ensuring alignment with Evolin’s internal identity and reinforcing engagement with their compliance programme.
